Sheree Collins
Sheree joined Brown Hill Netball Club as a player in 1992. She then went on to be a Committee member for 13 years – 7 of them as President.
Sheree appears in many of the club junior team photos as a coach – sometimes in teams where her daughter Megg wasn’t a player.
Sheree is a respected umpire in the BNA Association and has mentored many of the clubs’ aspiring young umpires.
In 2011 Sheree was named Club Person of the Year. She takes pleasure in the success that the club has achieved in both the Premier League and Premier Reserve competitions. She has seen some of the clubs’ juniors rise through the ranks to play in BNA representative teams, State and VNL teams.
Making new friends and helping in the development of players and coaches, has also given her a feeling of pride.
The current Committee owe Sheree many thanks, as she generously remained on the Committee for another twelve months, to assist in the handover of responsibilities.
It is for all of these reasons that the Committee voted unanimously to award Sheree a Life Membership of the Brown Hill Netball Club.
